_ABILITIES:
POWERS
• Body Modifications - Obito was saved after he was crushed by rocks only because Madara had fused his body with the same substance the White Zetsu (grown on the Ten-Tails husk) was made out of, replacing the parts of his body that weren't able to be salvaged after the accident. This substance grants him inhuman strength in his right arm and leg, rapid healing, extra chakra, and the ability to sustain himself without food or water. The body modification also grants Obito access to the Senju's bloodline limit, wood release, which will further be explained in the ninjutsu section.

Chakra - Chakra allows humans to reach beyond their own limits and it is used in a variety of ways, such as using it to walk across water or even heal. Three techniques were invented on the basis of chakra usage: ninjutsu, genjutsu, and fuinjutsu. Ninjutsu basically translates to ninja techniques and encompasses almost all skills that require the usage of chakra and hand seals. Some basic ninjutsu that is normally taught to kids in training are the abilities to disguise one's self as another person or object and to clone one's self. Some advanced ninjutsu that requires a larger amount of chakra consists of elemental release (manipulating lightning, water, wood, or fire, etc.) and focusing chakra outside of the body to use it as a weapon. Genjutsu is an illusory technique that allows the user to manipulate chakra flow in their opponent's body, distorting their perspective and senses and making them imagine things according to the user's will. Fuinjutsu is a sealing technique and is used to basically "seal" things into other things. It can be used as a way of storing weapons within scrolls or it can be used to effectively trap powerful threats, such as the Tailed Beasts, into actual human beings. Hand-to-hand combat, otherwise known as taijutsu, was also developed to be used in conjunction with the other three techniques. Beyond these necessary skills, there are also special techniques, such as telepathy and shadow possession, that are exclusive to those who inherit them from their family's bloodline. They are called bloodline limits.

Obito can concentrate and manipulate chakra at will. He's capable of sticking to vertical surfaces, as well as walking on water. Because of his body modification, he has more chakra than the average person, but when he does run low on it, he becomes exhausted.

Sensing - Obito can also sense and pinpoint an individual's chakra, which allows him to track anyone's chakra he recognizes. In CDC, this will be limited to only those who actually have chakra, which are exclusively people from the Naruto universe.

Dojutsu and Genjutsu - Obito possesses the ability to wield the Uchiha clan's bloodline limit to its full potential: the Sharingan. The Sharingan is an eye ability that changes the colour of the iris red upon activation - tomoes (comma-like shapes that spin around the iris) are added around the pupil as it levels up, with three being the maximum.

The first and most basic ability the Sharingan has is being able to track chakra flow within a person's body, which is similar to the way infrared technology works. The second ability the sharingan grants the user is enhanced perception and vision, allowing the user to easily discern reality from illusion, as well as predicting a person's movements based on subtle cues in their body. This prediction is perceived by the user as a moving image. The Sharingan can also record jutsus (sans other bloodline limits) and attacks, allowing the user to copy them flawlessly without any previous training or practice.

The fourth ability the Sharingan is capable of is powerful hypnosis, which is otherwise known as genjutsu. Once locking eyes with a person who wields a Sharingan, they can potentially put their opponent underneath an illusion. Contents vary depending on the user's will and can simply trick someone into thinking something is there when it isn't, or trick someone's senses into perceiving a physical attack.

Obito can also use an advanced version of the Sharingan, called the Mangekyo Sharingan. With this special form of the Sharingan, Obito has access to a technique called Kamui, which is a space-time jutsu. With it, Obito can teleport, as well as make himself intangible. Obito can also teleport objects and people through touch by the power of his right eye, transporting them to his personal pocket dimension that only his eyes are connected to. Since only Obito has the power to teleport in and out of his personal dimension, he uses it quite often to store things.

As for intangibility, the Kamui basically... teleports parts of his body being touched to his personal dimension, which makes it appear as though whatever's touching him is phasing right through his body. He can also extend this power to people who are touching him before the intangibility activates, making them intangible as well. The longest he can continuously use this ability is ten minutes.

Ninjutsu - Obito has a diverse selection of ninjutsu, varying from basic to advanced. Because he relies heavily on his bloodline limit and his more advanced kills, he hardly ever uses the basic ones, but he is capable of performing Clone Jutsu, which is a technique that allows the user to make intangible copies of themselves, and Body Substitute, which is a skill shinobi use by replacing a random object in their place, escaping a short distance away.

The Uchiha's specialty are fire-based attacks, and the following are techniques Obito has used in canon:
Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique - A technique that converts chakra into fire, which is released out of the mouth in a massive gust of fire.
Fire Release: Blast Wave Wild Dance - A technique similar to the Great Fireball Technique in that chakra is converted into fire and expelled out of the mouth, but instead of a big mass of flame, it takes on a whip-like shape that spirals outwards, covering more of a distance.
Uchiha Flame Formation - Chakra is again converted into flames, but instead of being expelled from the mouth, the user uses their hand. Placing the palm on any given surface, the user can generate a barrier made out of chakra flame, sending it to any location of their choosing as long as it is connected to the surface in which their hand is placed on.
Obito's body modification, which is infused with Senju's DNA, allows Obito access to the Wood Release Technique. The techniques he uses based on this special access in canon are as followed:
Wood Release: Cutting Technique - A technique that causes wooden spikes or branches to grow from the user's body (in Obito's case, this technique can only manifest on the right side of his body, where his body modification is), which the user can break off and use as close-range weapons or projectiles. The user can activate the branches to rapidly grow and spread out at lethal speed, and if they pierce the enemy's body before activation, the victim will be impaled by the wood in multiple directions.
Wood Release: Underground Roots Technique - This technique pulls roots out of the terrain at rapid speed and can be used defensively by making it difficult for the enemy to navigate through them, or offensively by crushing or impaling the enemy.
Earth Release: Hiding Like a Mole - Basically as it says: the user uses their chakra to disappear underground and tunnel through the earth. This can be used to escape a short distance away from the enemy or to launch a surprise attack on the enemy.

SKILLS
Taijutsu - Obito is trained and skilled in hand-to-hand combat.

Bukujutsu - Obito has experience wielding a variety of weapons, including the typical tools used by shinobi (swords, kunai and shuriken). He regularly uses kusari-fundo (a chain with weights on other side) to ensnare his opponents, keeping them in close-range so he can perform Kamui on them. He can basically make a lethal weapon out of most things, as evident by his usage of pipes and tree branches as impaling sticks.
_PERSONALITY:
From a young age, Obito undoubtedly believed in the importance of of camaraderie and bonds, placing his loyalties to his comrades and friends before anything else. As a shinobi, he was trained to be both ruthless and focused in order to be expected to efficiently complete missions. He was taught that sometimes sacrifices had to be made and that could not deter him from finishing any given objective. Obito has always had it in him to kill without batting an eye, but compromising the safety of his friends was out of the question since the beginning of his career as a shinobi. This strong conviction proved to be both his strength and his weakness, as it left him susceptible to having his values being turned against him. Sensitive and emotional by nature, he never approached anything halfheartedly -- when he would feel, he would feel strongly, whether it was happiness or anguish. Losing what was possibly his most important bond broke him in such a way that it was able to throw him into a descent of darkness and cynicism.

As a kid, Obito was never regarded as anything remarkable despite coming from a clan that was renowned for their elite shinobi. He had high expectations to meet, but he was average at best, especially when compared to the genius of his class, Kakashi Hatake. Despite this, he still held himself in high esteem and deluded himself into thinking he was of the same level as Kakashi; constantly, he pushed himself to try and match his skill in every way possible. Due to his lack of talent and how goofy he came off as while trying to perform well, his classmates, Kakashi included, had learned to not take him seriously. While facing their dismissive treatment did serve to both unnerve and offend him, he continued to maintain confidence in himself. However, that confidence acted as a double-edged sword, as it reached a point where it manifested as cockiness. Hot-headed and somewhat impatient, Obito was practically shameless when it came to opposing others when he felt it was called for. He was also quick to get jealous, especially when having to be subjected to watching another's success where he had failed.

He was deemed by many as ungrateful and irresponsible because of his petty attitude and his notorious habit of arriving late to just about everything, however good his intentions might have been. Consistently in his childhood, he always chose to help anyone he came across (especially the elderly) over focusing on getting somewhere on time. This was an example of how innately good-natured he was, but it was also telling of how inconsiderate he could be as well. What he lacked in skill and professionalism, however, he made up for with hard work, strong will, and unwavering determination that coincided with his other values as a shinobi. He never shied away from a challenge even when it seemed the odds were against him, but to counterbalance his shortcomings he had to rely heavily on teamwork and wholeheartedly put trust in his comrades.

His relationships with his teammates were his primary motivations at that point. Obito had a strong attachment to Rin in particular, as she had tended to him and encouraged his dreams while others had ignored him. Earning her acknowledgment, as well as protecting her, became one of his biggest priorities, and her safety came before anyone else's. Both Rin and Kakashi were incredibly important to him, even if he did consider the latter his rival, and did everything in his power to protect both of them. He sacrificed himself to save Kakashi, proving his dedication to him, and by asking him to protect Rin, proved he also believed in and depended on his strength. After realizing he had survived, the first thing thought of was how grateful he was to have the chance to reunite with his friends. His loyalty to his team was what helped him deflect Madara's attempts to convince him to join him in his cause.

Witnessing Rin die at the hands of Kakashi marked the point where a great shift in Obito's personality and motivations took place. Failing to protect Rin deeply affected both Obito and Kakashi, but for Obito it had effectively stripped him of all hope and idealism he previously had for the world, making his pain easy to exploit. With the loss of Rin, Madara's goal of placing the world under a genjutsu in order to attain peace didn't seem so irrational to Obito anymore. He would do anything to revive Rin and live a happy life with both her and Kakashi, even if it meant having to destroy reality in the process. For Obito, a delusion in the shape of a dream world would be enough, and that very concept became his life's driving force.

Adopting Madara's identity changed Obito in ways that extended to the core of his being, warping his values, beliefs, and his sense of self. All individuality he once possessed seemed to have vanished, having been replaced by the will of his ancestor. He no longer maintained his old quarks of helping the elderly and arriving late to meetings, and his newfound contempt for the world and humanity inspired him to be especially ruthless and unsympathetic. Even his manner of speaking completely changed to fit his Madara persona, which influenced him to approach people more professionally. When conducting business, he maintained a certain distance and avoided being personable unless it was to his advantage to be. To most people, Obito carried a mature, if enigmatic air about him.

This Obito also proved to be better at keeping his emotions in check, as he had to in order to maintain his ambition and facade without faltering. There was a time when Obito had the tendency to freeze up in battle and cry when anxious, but as Madara, he was decisive and quick to seize opportunity to further his interests as he saw it. He didn't hold any loyalties to anyone, even to Madara, his co-collaborator. He put forth all of his focus on his goal of recreating Infinite Tsukuyomi. Obito would again have to rely on teamwork, but he wouldn't prioritize their safety like he would have as a kid. He wouldn't even help them if it somehow inconvenienced him, either, which is a stark contrast to his old penchant for performing good deeds. Teamwork had become something that was solely a means to an end for Obito. To avoid drawing unnecessary attention to himself while working with his team, he created yet another persona: Tobi. Tobi was basically an unassuming idiot, reminiscent of who he once was, if a bit exaggerated. While it did display his impressive capacity for acting, it wasn't at all reflective of his new identity. Tobi was soon thrown away after it became unnecessary to hide his plans.

Obito was shamelessly open about his plans once he knew the time to execute them was drawing nearer. He boldly approached all five of the Kages and their accompanying advisers, telling them that if they did not cooperate with his plan, he would declare war. Despite the tension of the situation, Obito was supremely calm. As deceptive as he had to be as Madara and Tobi, he was surprisingly honest about his intentions, which suggests that he truly believed he had complete control. This persisted in most confrontations he shared with his enemies. Confidence was never something he lacked, even as a child, which is reflective in the way he faces foreign and unfavourable circumstances. He maintains complete control, even going as far as to convince himself that he has the edge no matter the unexpected turn of events.

Posing as Madara for so long had left Obito barely recognizable in the eyes of the people who had known him in the past. Once so sociable and friendly, Obito had turned into someone who is cruel and seemingly unfeeling. His words towards Kakashi in particular awere cutting and harsh, leaving no room for reason as he dismissed and deflected his old friend's attempts at reaching out to him. If anything remained unchanged, it as his unrelenting nature and goal-oriented mindset. The very bonds Obito had been so desperate to preserve mean nothing to him when he can simply have them all in the new world, but without any of the heartbreak, so he isn't to be deterred.

Stubbornness aside, Obito still holds lingering attachment to his friends, which is exactly why he was hoping to meet them in the dream world in the first place. As much as Obito claims to no longer care about the past or who he used to be, he continues to hold onto his memories of the days he spent with his friends, as well as the previous dreams he once had of becoming Hokage. Facing Naruto had been a lot like facing his past-self for Obito and that may very well be the only reason why the boy was able to reach through to him, as the old Obito never completely disappeared. It was something he always unconsciously held onto, making it possible for him to have a change of heart. Despite his best efforts to repress his own visions of a happier world he could have possibly lived in had he not joined Madara, Obito's resolve weakened .

Obito had wanted Naruto to succumb to the cruelness of reality as he once had, but in the end he succumbed to Naruto’s will through his defeat. Accepting that he had been suffering from losing Rin all that time allowed him to then open his mind to the possibility of "filling in the hole" Rin's death had left in him. He realized that the path he had taken was wrong and with the sudden change in his mindset came a desire to repent.

Upon his epiphany, Obito's aggression and anger seemed to have finally simmered down, allowing for his old values to emerge through his current exterior. Some changes remained still, as he continued to stay calm and level-headed unlike his youthful-self, but on top of those traits were good intentions. While rather subdued in how he approached the people he once saw as enemies, he did everything in his power to aid and accommodate them. He also showed an impressive capacity for consideration and care for them as well. Now way more sympathetic and agreeable, Obito had reclaimed key traits he had as a kind-hearted kid along with his identity. He was an Uchiha, a subordinate of Naruto’s father, and a friend of Kakashi; all of which were parts of himself that he for so long denied. Through helping Naruto and his friends fight Kaguya, Obito was able to rebuild his sense of self, something he had lost at the hands of Madara’s manipulation. He came to care about Naruto and his fiends, and invested in his ideals of attaining peace through creating bonds.

Obito is ultimately a man hardened by war, trauma, and loss, and a man warped and controlled by his own delusions. It is entirely possible for him to have a change of heart at this point in his life, as canon proves, but the person who he once was is embedded deep inside a lot of anger and resentment. He longs for happiness, but is resigned in thinking that the only way he can attain happiness is to live in a make-believe world shaped by his own fantasies rather than enduring his pain and starting over in the real world.

_NOTE: From the canon point I'm taking Obito from, he has the Rinnegan, which is an overpowered eye that has access to more abilities. For simplicity's sake, as well as making sure he doesn't wreak havoc, I'd like to have the game (Amoi's technology) take the eye from him upon transporting him to the world. Would that be possible?
